TAG!

Here are the rules: You have to answer the questions with a Google image search. NO using your own pictures. Even on the picture of you. Let's see what happens.

Favorite Color:

I think its just the little girl in me that loves these bright colors. I even had them as my wedding colors in November?!?!?

Favorite Animal:

I would totally own one of these if it wasn't cruel!

Bad Habit:

I am addicted to shopping. Although I have been much better behaved since I have been home with McKinley (we just dont have the money to) But if ever I get a chance to I don't hesitate.

Favorite Food:

This picture was too funny not to post! And I bet you can guess what my favorite food is!

Favorite Hobby:

This one really was a toss up between spending time with my family and watching sports. But its a good thing that usually when we spend time with family we are watching or playing sports.

Place I live:

Yup, this is the place... lol

Favorite Song:

Right now my favorite song is All-American Girl by Carrie Underwood. It just reminds me so much of Bret and McKinley. If you haven't heard it I recommend listening to it.

My job:

This is where I work and I actually earn money. Its stressful at times, but its a really great place to work! I couldnt ask for a better job that pays.

This picture is what I do as my full time, never a minute to yourself, but the most rewarding ever, job. The picture says it all!

Favorite Author:

I really don't have a clue who I would say my favorite author is. I don't read enough to even note who the author is.... I know sad.

Favorite Dessert:

Sherbet with Sprite... I never really was a fan of it until last summer. Now that my dr has put me on the milk shake diet (I have lost too much weight with the pregnancy) I have one with every meal... even breakfast!!! :)

Last but not least...
A picture of Me:

And here I am.... bow-chicka-wah-wah!!!

This tag was actually a lot of fun. I am not going to tag specific people but would like those who get a chance to do it.

A New Look

I needed something a little more cheerful on my page! I just hope that it doesn't make everyone sick with all of the polka dots.

Alot of Catching up to Do

It seems like just as I get one moment to start to write I think of something else that I really should be doing. But I am sitting here, I should be working, but I really need to write in here before I get started on my work.
We finally after being sick for a week and a half did get better. My house finally got cleaned and all is well again at the Kettenring home.
So much has happened since I last wrote. We got tickets to Disney on Ice I wasnt quite sure if McKinley would even like it, but it was a hit! I will see if I can post pictures on here a little bit later. She danced and she clapped through the entire thing until the finale where the little girl sitting in front of her was more entertaining.
St. Pattys day was full of excitement. It started off with getting ready and then to lunch with G-ma Sally. McKinley of course had green hair like mom and she was all decked out in her outfit that was too big for her because I bought it for her last year, thinking she would be fitting into clothes her age and size. We then came home for nap time and then got ready to go to g-ma Laura's for the annual Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner. It was a lot of fun for all of us and we were all exhausted by the time we got home.
Next was my birthday, Bret planned it. I knew that he had put a lot of time and effort into it becuase he had been very secretive all week long. The day started very early with him waking me up and telling to me get ready and that we wouldnt be back until late so I needed to plan accordingly for myself and McKinley. When we got in the car I realized that he had taken the day off to spend it with me :) We went to my moms for breakfast where we had strawberry waffles and bacon! yummy! Then I got to open my first gift which was a dress. He had me put it on and then we went to the temple with my mom and dad. We even got to be the witness couple for the first time ever. It was really neat. Then we changed and went to see college road trip. Donny Osmond stole the show. He by far was in all my favorite parts of the movie. After that we went back to my mom and dads where I got to open another gift which was a new game for the wii. Luckily I had left the wii at my parents from the day before so we were able to play. After a little while of playing we went to his mom and dads where his mom had fixed my favorite dinner! FAJITAS!!!! Everyone from both sides of the family were there Danny and Katy came too, it was really nice to have everyone there. I really am spoiled and so lucky to have Bret! It was a very nice day! I will post pictures when I get a minute for this too.
Next was Easter. As many of you know Easter is a big thing at Bret's house. This year we colored 13 dozen eggs for the egg hunt. And Bret and I didn't do as well as we normally do. Together we had as many eggs as everyone else did on their own. But we did still make out with $2. Although this year we should have done a lot better but an exception was made and we ended up waiting for Mike and Robyn. If it would have been the way they said it was supposed to Jayson, Bret and I would have done really well! We then made breakfast, egg gravy over biscuits, and got ready for church. After church we went hunting for our easter baskets and showed everyone what we got from the easter bunny. A while later after a bit of a little relaxing Bret and I went to my mom and dads for easter dinner. Then we went outside and sat by a fire until we all were falling asleep and then went home.
The last few days sure have been overwhelmingly wonderful! I cant help but be thankful for everything that I have. I have such a great little family and a terrific extended family. The weather has been so nice here and McKinley and I have enjoyed spending the majority of our time outside. Its amazing what a little sunshine does to everyone. They all seem so much happier, including me.

On a side note, my next dr appointment is my last 4 week appointment (its next week). Which means I am in my last trimester already! It doesnt seem that long ago that I was bawling my eyes out because I found out we were already having another baby. Now I feel grateful for the blessing that will soon be making his way into our lives.

The house of Sickness

Despite the fact that the month of February was absolutely crazy, it ended and brought with it a house of colds to the month of March.
McKinley had her 1 year shots a week and a half ago, and I thought her running nose was a side effect of the combination of all of them put together. It wasn't until Bret and I started walking around the house sniffling and sneezing that I realized that we all caught the 'cold' bug.
My brother and dad have had it this last week as well, only with a fever. Lucky for Bret and I we have not had that problem yet. Although mine is much worse then Bret's. I am coughing and my voice is all cracklely and I SO wish I could take some NyQuil to get rid of it. But I am living on Sudefed that really has little or no impact on me at all.
Then there is McKinley. She has had a fever with her cold, her poor nose is red from me constantly trying to keep it clean, she only wants to drink apple juice and eat fish's or cookies. (sometimes a banana or crazins I can sneak in there) She is wanting to be held all day and she is very sluggish and doesn't sleep very well. This is making for a very LONG week as a mom who stays home.
I so wish I could hire someone to come in and clean my house. Somewhere in my mind I believe that if the house was clean and all disinfected we would all get rid of this super fast. The problem is before McKinley, when I was sick, I would take a day off of work come home and clean my house from top to bottom and even though I didnt get rid of the illness right away, I somehow felt much better. With McKinley it is a whole different story. I wake up, and then end up holding her and wiping her nose all day. I have NO time to clean my house, she doesn't allow it. Which makes me feel even grosser than I already feel.
This isnt a very uplifting blog entry, but I guess it just fits right in with the way we have all been feeling at this house. BLAH!
