The Last Couple Weeks...

Went to see the floats for the parade Kin got her face painted.

Drove through Idaho and saw this CRAZY big Budweiser sign

Stopped to see Jack and Margaret

Saw a car flying in the air in Montana

Rode to the top of Big Mountain in Whitefish, MT

Saw how pretty Montana really is

Went swimming in Foyes Lake (kids skinny dipped so I only posted one picture)

Played outside

Sat on a giant rocking chair

Went inside a real Tee Pee

Visited the House of Mystery

Went to Glacier National Park

And Ate Huckleberry Ice Cream Cones

It was a good time, we are glad we were able to go. Our hearts and prayers go out to my Aunt Martha who found out while we were there that she has cancer. Thanks to Doc and Linni for letting us crash at their place for the week and putting up with us.

Bret and his cute face!

Bret has been losing weight like crazy. I guess for me since I live with him, I haven't noticed the dramatic transformation that is taking place. Everywhere we go people mention Bret's weight loss. This past weekend my brother was at our house and we were talking about how much Bret has really lost. We started comparing pictures of him a while back compared to now. I can't help but post this... it is AMAZING! I am so proud of him for doing it and although I thought he was hot before... he is now dang sexy!! Just as a side note, I think he has lost from his highest weight to what he weighs now is 55lbs!

Seminar!

Tait is 1

Yesterday my little Taiter turned one! I seriously cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. He is growing up so fast and is getting his own little personality. Some of my favorite things about Tait...

• He LOVES to tease - He will wait for Kinney to get in the room, pick up her toys and hang on to them as tight as he can as he takes off for the next room... while Kin is screaming behind him. He just laughs and laughs.Its super cute!
  
• He loves nap time!!!
• His favorite toys are cars - he pushes them around the house for hours. His knees are always black and callused over from pushing them around.
• He loves his mom the most
• He loves the tub
  
• He laughs whenever you laugh even if he doesn't know what your are laughing at
• His giggle is contagious
• His grandpa's are his favorite people - next to mom of course
• He never gives up on whatever it is that he wants - which is good and bad!
  

For his birthday we had a BBQ with family and a few friends at a park. Tait was so cute and he LOVED being the center of attention. He hasn't stopped playing with his new toys and is glad to finally have some more "boy" toys around the house.

The Cake was my favorite part of his birthday. It was perfect! He loved his cake and made a complete mess! Frosting was flying everywhere he was so excited that everyone was laughing he was clapping his hands and shoving his face full of cake. McKinley had already put a dent in the cake from the store to the car, but I am just glad that it was free and got all messed up anyway.

It was a great day, I love Tait and am so glad that he is here and a part of our family!!

Happy 4th

I absolutely love this time of year, BBQ's, fireworks, days where Bret is home, late nights, golf, swimming pools, parks... the list can go on forever.
It was the annual Davis/Duehlmeier family get together. We went to LD's and Kentlee's for the weekend had BBQ's, tractor rides and so much more. I made this salad that I got off of this website! It has great ideas for the family and for holidays (plus its created by a friends from a family that truely is fabulous in every way)

After the BBQ Kent took the kids on a tractor ride, Kinney loved this!

We then watched Forever Strong in the backyard and then slept under the canopy because of the rain. Tait would just not go to sleep so I had to take him on a ride at 1am to get thim to sleep.
At 6 we woke up to go golfing, where I won ladies closest to the pin!!! Only because most of the other females that ususally go golfing either are pregnant or slept in. So it was between Katy and I and Katy one longest drive.
We had slip and slide, naps, more food and crafts. Then came home for the fireworks at Jordan park.
I wish I would have taken way more pictures, but we were having too much fun for me to remember. A big thanks to LD and Kentlee for doing this every year!!!
